We are very excited to be playing with Silian Rail and By Sunlight this upcoming, Saturday, May 12th at Chop Suey. We hope all of you Seattle folks will come check out some new songs and support Silian Rail, an awesome duo from Oakland, CA who just released a new album!

We are in the trenches of mixing the new album and it is sounding righteous! Thanks to our engineer Christopher Proff (hit him up if you are looking to record)!

We are hoping to announce when and how we will be releasing the new album soon, but we are still trying to get everything ironed out. Be on the look out for a late summer or fall release along with some touring!

Day 1

The first day of tracking is always difficult and yesterday was no exception. We got off to a rough start with transportation issues, but plowed on anyway. In total, we tracked 3 complete songs. We are continuing in the YMDITD tradition of tracking all of our instruments live. Later in the evening, we ran into some trouble with the board, but master Proff pulled some wizard skills out and fixed all of the paranormal activity. Leigh, the owner, stopped by and we told her that we would be putting the 10 minute song on the Crybaby comp:) Everyone’s gear is sounding awesome and we are pumped to get back to it today. Thanks for all of the support.

Tracking Starts Today!

We are so excited to announce that we will begin tracking on our first full length, International Waters, this weekend. This album has been a long time coming and we are so excited to finally get it recorded. We will be working with our friend Chris Proff on this new album and we know he is going to make the album sound amazing. Thanks to those of you who have been patiently waiting for this, we are humbled by all of you who have stuck with us over the years. Hopefully we will be updating this page and our facebook page over the weekend. Check back for studio updates all weekend.

Our First Show of 2012!!!

Hello all!

2012 is off to a great start! We will be recording a full length album this year and hopefully releasing some other material too. We don’t have firm plans yet, but we are hoping to record in March and perhaps release an album by summertime.

In other exciting news, we will be playing our first show of 2012 this Saturday, January 7th at the High Dive in Fremont. We are excited to be playing some new material at this show. It would be great to see a lot of people come out to the show and start the year off right!

Thank you all for your continued support and patience with us over the years. We realize that our full length is well over due, but we think it will be worth the wait. Happy new year and we hope that this is a year filled with joy and happiness for all of our families, friends, and fans.

Seattle Weekly’s Reverb Festival!!!

We are so excited to announce that we will be part of the Seattle Weekly’s Annual Reverb Festival this upcoming October 8th. We are one of 60+ bands playing all over Ballard. This year we will be playing at the New York Fashion Academy @ 5201 Ballard Ave NW. Our show is All Ages and we play at 6:30!

Even more exciting, we have a chance to play at the Iceland Airwaves festival!!! Hello Friends,

We have a show coming up with some very awesome bands at SPACE, which is located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle. We are playing with our good friends Austenitic, Groundskeeper (Oakland, CA), and Young Doctors.

This is seriously going to be a night of awesome, experimental, progressive music! Doors are at 8pm and there is a $5 cover. Please come and support some local and touring musicians!!!
